"Very practical" - soap box with removable magnetic soap dish

The Traveler soap box has been designed to integrate a SAVONT magnetized soap dish at the bottom of the soap box. Position a magnetized soap dish inside the box. Thanks to the magnetic attraction, the soap is no longer in contact with a wall and can dry completely.

When you're out and about, for example in a hotel or B&B, remove the soap dish from the soap box and attach it to the shower or washbasin as usual.

Why plastic? the most practical soap box

The top and bottom of the soap box close automatically by interlocking, using a peripheral tongue-and-groove element.
Light pressure on both outer sides opens the soap box
The bottom of the soap box is particularly smooth for attaching a suction-cup soap dish
The soap box prevents drops from spilling out of the box, but is not designed to carry liquids

And not metal?

We're often asked why we didn't use stainless steel? PP is more energy-efficient than stainless steel. Stainless steel has to be cast and rolled, producing scrap during cutting. What's more, stainless steel is only permanently rust-resistant (even if we call it that) in very high quality, like our soap cap, which is in constant contact with soaps.
For this reason, we have opted for recyclable, low-energy PP.
Finally, thanks to its flexibility, PP provides the technical function of tongue-and-groove opening and closing.
The soap box loop is made of flexible silicone. By moving the Connector, you can adjust the width of the loop.

How this unique soap box came into being

As a soap fan, I used to put my soap in an ordinary soap box when I travelled. It annoyed me to lose soap every time I put my wet soap in the soap box after a shower. When I reopened the soap box, I'd lost around 1-2 mm of soap.

After developing the floating soap dish in 2017, I worked on a soap box that could house a magnetic soap dish in the soap box. After many tests, the result was phenomenal: wet soap dries in the soap box. Even if the soap is cold-saponified. So with the Traveler, you won't lose any soap during your trip, and you'll always have your soap dish with you.

Innovator for floating soaps

SAVONT is the original inventor of the "floating soap dish". Since 2017, we've been manufacturing our products near Nuremberg and developing them continuously. We produce our quality products "Made in Germany", in close collaboration with small family businesses in Germany. In early 2022, we were awarded the Bavarian Climate Pact.

Our Jumbo soap holder has been specially designed for large and heavy soaps.With its larger suction cup and stronger magnet, the soap holder carries soap bars up to 250g, such as larger Aleppo soaps. The soap holder allows the soap to float in the sink or shower. Drilling or gluing is not necessary. This also saves space because there is no need to have a soap dish on the sink edge. Suction cup soap holder without contact with the magnet

Vario - 200g

The patented Vario represents the latest generation of SAVONT soap holders: the magnet is not inserted from the front of the suction cup, but from the back, the so-called vacuum side. The magnet has no contact with the soap, nor with water, and is thus permanently protected. The new soap holder has an adhesive surface with a diameter of approx. 40mm. Due to the strong magnet, a stable hold for soaps up to approx. 200g is realized. The soap holder is delivered ready plugged (see video).
