Soap holder with Protector
We soap fans actually can not live without our bar of soap. We find it much more pleasant and effective than shower gel. Using a solid bar of soap is a haptic, olfactory yes emotional experience. I sometimes even find it to be a kind of meditation, as time is briefly stopped and the senses come to the fore.
But the bar soaps have been pushed aside by liquid soap, which often comes from a sterile plastic bottle. The main problem with using the solid soap is that more than a quarter of the soap in the soap dish is lost due to softening and the soap becomes a sloppy mess.
We decided to look for a solution to this problem and came up with a result: the Savont soap holder. Unlike traditional soap dishes or soap holders with draining grids, this holder makes the soap seem to literally float in the air. For the unique idea we had in 2017, there are unfortunately many imitations, but none performs as the original Savont soap holder promises.
The new Classic Protector soap holder is the perfect combination of innovation and functionality. We have developed and tested extensively before launching our latest product. Because in a time when there are many imitators, we want to stay authentic and let the world know that it is our idea to bring bar soap fun on the long run.
Why we are so proud of our latest invention and why the Savont Soap Holder with Protector is like no other on the market.
Our product basically consists of three parts: The suction cup with integrated magnet, the Protector and the soap button. You press the soap button into the soap, put the Protector over the magnet of the suction cup and attach the suction cup to the wall. Tada, the basic installation of the new Savont soap holder is finished. Now, when you place the soap on the soap holder, the soap bar stays in one place, creating the illusion of a floating soap

Our former Classic Edition compared to the new Protector soap holder
The Protector soap holder is in fact our Classic Edition in 2.0. Why, you may ask? The answer is simple. We identified a fallback in our design and came up with a solution that gives the soap holder more quality and durability, making it even more of an everyday household item.
The problem
The Classic Soap Holder had no protective barrier between the magnet and the soap button in the soap. Every time the soap was returned to the soap holder, there was a loud noise. The noise was caused by the strong attraction of the magnet the closer you brought the soap to the suction cup soap holder. This also created a shock on the magnet. If the shocks were too strong, over time the anti-corrosion layer was damaged and the magnet began to rust. Another aspect was also observed: the smaller the soap became, the more difficult it was to pull it off the soap holder again: the soap button often detached itself from the soap.
The solution from SAVONT
These points made us think and go back to development. This is how the Classic Protector soap holder was born. The new soap holder has a protector that is applied to the magnet of the soap holder. This way there is no loud noise when the soap is returned to the soap holder. The soap returns softly and gently.
Because the Protector sits firmly and perfectly on the magnet of the suction cup, the magnet is lifelong completely protected from rust. This is something we are particularly proud of, as over several years we tried to constantly improve the coating of the magnet. It was only when we took a look from an elevated bird's-eye view that we develope the idea of the Protector, which means we can now protect the magnet for life. Especially against the background of rare earths we protect the heart of the soap holder.
Increased carrying capacity although the soap is easier to remove from the soap holder?
Two advantages are achieved, which at first glance seem to be mutually exclusive: the soap is easier to remove when there is a Protector, and yet the soap holder with Protector can carry a heavier soap weight. The former seems logical, but it is even more important when you consider that the soap gets smaller and smaller as you use it. In relation to the size of the soap increases magnetic attraction, which often pulled the soap button out of the soap. The latter point of higher carrying capacity is achieved by the friction of the soap on the Protector of the soap holder: although the soap is easier to remove, we achieve a higher carrying weight.
The Classic Protector soap holder holds bar soaps of at least 150g when placed vertically. No matter what the shape of the soap and with good magnetic pull. If the soap is relatively flat, there is no leverage on the soap holder and the carrying weight goes up to 200g.
