Classic Edition – Magnetic Soap Holder with Exposed Magnet

The Classic Edition reflects the original design of many magnetic soap holders – with an exposed magnet. This version was widely used in the past and also sold by us. Today, we use it for comparison purposes only, as it is technically outdated.

In this model, the magnet is completely uncovered – making it permanently exposed to water, air, and soap. While a thin coating initially provides corrosion protection, even minor scratches or stress can lead to rust and discoloration. This becomes a major disadvantage in humid environments.

The Classic Edition is no longer actively sold. It serves as a technical reference for earlier designs – in direct comparison with further developed SAVONT products like the Protector Edition and the VARIO, which use fully protected magnetic systems.

Not recommended for:

  • Continuous use in bathrooms or showers
  • High-quality natural soaps or superfatted soap bars
  • Humid climates or coastal regions
  • Users with high expectations in hygiene and long-term durability
